Benedyczak makes Parma fly and knocks out Brescia: 2-0 at Tardini
A potentially crucial result, both for the top and bottom of the rankings.
Parma beat Brescia 2-0 in the only Sunday challenge of Serie B, boosting its promotion ambitions in no small part. Striker of the challenge at the Tardini was Adrian Benedyczak, author of the double that brought the ducali back to 54 points (the same as fifth-placed Cagliari), while the Rondinelle remain in 17th position, -3 from the salvation zone.
The two match goals came in the early stages of the first half, in the 11th and 17th minutes, respectively. In the first occasion the Pole took advantage of a Bernabé free kick and beat Andrenacci under the goal, in the second he found the winning tap-in on the development of a crossbar hit by Man. Both before halftime and during the second half he even came close to a hat trick, but the result never changed again.
