Max Verstappen unstoppable, Ferrari distant
Formula 1, results
Red Bull dominance in Miami as well. In the U.S. Grand Prix, Max Verstappen remounted from ninth position with great ease, passing everyone like skittles until he was chasing his teammate. Sergio Perez, who started from pole, fought back until ten laps to go, when he could not oppose the world champion’s overpowering position.
On the podium was the usual Fernando Alonso, leaving George Russell in fourth place. Another race to forget for Ferrari: Carlos Sainz, who was also penalized five seconds for exceeding the speed limit in the pit lane, did not go beyond fifth place, while Charles Leclerc finished seventh behind Lewis Hamilton, who was also disappointing.
