Lewis Hamilton sees opportunity to break Red Bull domination

There's optimism at Mercedes ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix, the 15th round of the 2023 Formula 1 World Championship. From the words of Lewis Hamilton in the press conference, in particular, shines through all the desire of the stable of Brackley and the seven-time world champion to interrupt, at least for one weekend, the absolute domination of Red Bull, winner of all races this season with Max Verstappen (twelve successes) and Sergio Perez (the remaining two).

"The potential is there'è – said number 44 -. We have no idea what exactly the future holds, but we are preparing as best we can on a particular track. The new section è interesting, it could bring us all a little closer and give Red Bull less chance to run away".

At Monza Hamilton finished sixth, behind his teammate George Russell. A result that però did not put the Circus veteran out of a good mood, who indeed congratulated his team on its progress in recent races.

"We have a fantastic engine, the guys have done an incredible job from the point of view of power and reliability. I hope the situation will be good on the Singapore circuit as well, last year here we suffered from bouncing and this year it will be interesting to see how the car" behaves.
