In Reggio Emilia, Domenico Berardi unlocked the result (15′) with a powerful right-footer eight the crossbar, but Dominguez (42′) equalized before halftime. In the second half again Berardi and the returning Arnautovic missed chances for the winning goal.
Bologna thus missed a chance to fly solo to eighth place, joining Fiorentina, Udinese, Monza, and Torino on 46 points.
