F1, Christian Horner identifies possible risks in the calendar
F1, Christian Horner sheds light on dangerous GPs for Red Bull
After the extraordinary weekend in Miami, which gave Red Bull its fifth consecutive victory and yet another one-two finish this early in the season, team principal Christian Horner commented on the performance of its two drivers and the continuation of the season.
“Max had an incredible pace on tires that were much more worn than Checo’s. When he came back in to put on the averages he had a big advantage. He and Sergio battled great and more importantly correctly, and it’s great for us to have brought home our fifth win of the season. All weekend Verstappen showed he had more and the mistake in qualifying gave him even more motivation to redeem himself in the race,” these were the words of the team principal to the microphones of “Sky Sport F1.”
Afterwards, the Briton spoke about the continuation of the season by identifying the possible obstacles there could be for Red Bull. For example, he wanted to focus his attention on circuits such as those of Singapore and Monte Carlo, which were indicated as unsuited to the characteristics of the single-seaters of the Milton Keynes team.
