Olimpia is participating in the playoffs for the 41st time in its history. The last absence was in the 2003/04 season. Since then, it has always participated.

In the playoff era, it has won the scudetto 10 times, the first in 1982 at the beginning of a streak of nine consecutive finals. Twenty times, it has reached the finals for the championship (10-10). In all, it has a 192-134 record in individual playoff games, 58.9 percent win rate. It is also 64-28 in series played so far, 69.6% success rate. Nine times its run has stopped in the semifinals. Eight times it has stopped in the quarters, three times it has not made it past the round of 16 (currently non-existent).

In the last eight editions, it has always finished at least in the top four. In 1985, Olimpia was the first team to finish an edition of the playoffs undefeated, 6-0 (then all series were played best of three games).
