F1, Max Verstappen ready to overtake Ayrton Senna
With the victory in Miami, the Dutchman rose to 38 GPs won
Verstappen’s roster is impressive. With the Miami GP won in stunning fashion, the two-time World Champion has climbed to a career-high 38 GP wins (he has won 18 of the last 26 disputed). The Red Bull star is, at present, the sixth winningest driver in F1 history, behind Hamilton (103 GP wins), Schumacher (91), Vettel (53), Prost (51) and Senna, now only three wins away.
Impressive one statistic. Verstappen is up to 38 GPs won at only 25 years of age and with 168 GPs played. Ahead of him, if he doesn’t quit due to lack of stimulation, there are still plenty of F1 seasons left and, thus, the chance to try to climb the prestigious winners’ list and, why not, become the all-time No. 1 in terms of on-track successes.
