In addition to the great excitement of returning to the track are the hopes of doing well.

Danilo Petrucci will be back on the official Ducati at Le Mans, where he will race the French Grand Prix in place of the injured Enea Bastianini. The rider from Terni therefore decided to tell his feelings, but also the high expectations for a race where he has done very well in the past.

“Returning to race for Ducati in MotoGP represents a truly indescribable emotion for me,” Petrucci confessed upon arrival in Le Mans. “I am overjoyed, because I will have the honor of testing the world champion bike and I will be able to do so on the same track where I collected my last MotoGP victory in 2020.

Moreover, the same bad weather that characterized his last victory is expected on Le Mans, and Petrucci knows it well. “It will certainly not be an easy weekend, also considering the weather forecast. In the past, however, I have always been competitive in the wet. However, the first goal is to do well together with the team, in addition to having fun on the track.”
