Internazionali d’Italia: sweet words from Lorenzo Musetti for the Foro Italico audience

Lorenzo Musetti, waiting to be on the court, was featured in a press conference at the Foro Italico, where he revealed his feelings ahead of his debut at the Internazionali d’Italia in Rome.

“The beginning of the season did not go as I wanted, but now I have come out of a period that was not easy for me,” Musetti said, quoted by ANSA. The season on clay has started better than last year. I have regained confidence and positive feelings in my shots. I am ready, but no predictions. I hope I can make it through the two weeks.”

“The audience? An extra boost: when I played in Rome I felt protected and involved by the fans, not crushed by the pressure. My debut?. I hope there can be an Italian derby (he will face the winner between Argentina’s Schwartzman and Arnaldi, ed.). Rome is an important tournament but the focus of the clay season is Paris. Between here and Roland Garros, the hope is to channel as many ranking points as possible.”
