Simone Inzaghi preaches calm: “We are happy, but a piece is missing”
A great victory, but one that should not let our guard down.
Simone Inzaghi rejoices over Inter’s victory in the Champions League derby against AC Milan, but he also preaches calm. In fact, the Nerazzurri coach’s end-of-match analysis is divided between compliments for his team’s performance and a warning not to let his guard down ahead of upcoming engagements.
“We played with heart and head, covering every inch of the field. That’s why we are really happy, also because the guys who took over also did well. But we are still missing a piece,” was Inzaghi’s warning to the microphones of ‘Prime Video’.
“Ours was a great game, although we could have scored even more goals. We are ahead, but we will have to play a home return and we still need an effort to achieve a great dream. However, now we have to recover physical and mental strength, because a very important challenge against Sassuolo awaits us,” Inzaghi stressed again.
