Tiago Pinto comments on rumors of a PSG assault on Mourinho

Tiago Pinto, on the sidelines of the Europa League match between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen, spoke to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ about rumors of an assault on Jose Mourinho by Paris Saint-Germain.

“I am calmed by this question,” the Giallorossi manager said, almost smiling. “They have asked me a question about Mourinho’s future at every decisive game this season. At this point I hope you ask me the same in Budapest: he has already answered it, actually, we are calm, me first.”

Mourinho is in his second Giallorossi season: despite the ups and downs, he won his first ever Conference League title last year, and this year, in addition to playing for a place in the Europa League final, he is in the midst of a race for fourth place in the league. Results that would have attracted the attention of PSG, looking for a new coach after yet another European disappointment this year.
