Milan revolution, Brahim Diaz also says goodbye
Brahim Diaz returns to Real Madrid
In addition to the managerial earthquake, with the definitive break between the management and the Paolo Maldini-Frederic Massara duo, Milan also registers the farewell of one of the protagonists of the last three years, Brahim Diaz. The Spaniard, who will turn 24 on August 3, is in fact returning to Real Madrid, the club that had taken him in 2019 from Manchester City before turning him over to the Rossoneri on loan.
At AC Milan, Brahim Diaz played 124 total games between league and cups, with 18 goals (13 in Serie A, 3 in Europa League, 2 in Champions League). Among the highlights of his Rossoneri experience were the brace against Monza last October (the third Spaniard to do so in the Rossoneri after Suso and Javi Moreno), and the goal against Tottenham on February 14, which was decisive in qualifying for the 2022/23 Champions League quarterfinals.
