Genoa, market entanglement with Sampdoria
Genoa, Zanoli is being evaluated for the defense
After gaining direct promotion to Serie A, Genoa is already at work planning the upcoming soccer market with the intention of reinforcing the squad ahead of next season. The Rossoblù management, in addition to discussing the renewals of the various players already present, would be evaluating several profiles both in Italy and abroad.
According to reports in the local media “Primocanale,” one name that is gaining momentum would be that of Alessandro Zanoli, a Sampdoria full-back owned by Napoli. The player, after a good second half of the season, could decide to change sides in Genoa in order to continue playing in the top category, given the relegation of the Blucerchiato club.
Genoa, in the coming weeks, is expected to establish relations with the player’s entourage to understand the feasibility of the operation and with Napoli, the owner of the player’s card, which has reportedly already opened up to the farewell of the class 2000 defender.
