“I am super happy and satisfied,” says Marini.

Excellent qualification for Mooney VR46 Racing Team rider Luca Marini: he will start from the third position on the grid in the MotoGp French Grand Prix.

“A good qualification, it was not obvious to go to Q2 from Q1 but it went well. Then in Q2 I only had one tire on the rear that I could use for a fast lap. I took some risks in my last attempt and positioned myself well on the track. In Q1 and Q2 I could have done something more, but I am super happy and satisfied. All we need to do is get a good start and make the most of this position for the races,” recounted Valentino Rossi’s brother.
