Bagnaia-Viñales crash, Massimo Rivola goes down flat with Ducati rider
Massimo Rivola tough with Pecco Bagnaia
Despite the apparent clarification between Pecco Bagnaia and Maverick Viñales, according to at least the handshake they exchanged on their way back to the pits, the incident that ousted both the reigning MotoGp world champion and the Aprilia Spaniard from the French GP is one of the main themes of the post-race.
Among the clearest opinions is that of Massimo Rivola, managing director of Aprilia Racing, who at the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’ was categorical with regard to the determination of responsibility: “There is not much to comment – he commented -, one rider (Viñales, ed.) is in front on the inside, the other (Bagnaia, ed.) on the outside that does not leave him space. The important thing, however, is that neither of them is hurt.”
For Bagnaia it is the second retirement of the season after the one in Texas (in Argentina, after the fall, he had gotten up and then finished the race outside the points zone). For Viñales, on the other hand, it is the second consecutive “DNF” after the one in the Jerez GP.
