Valentino Rossi shares credit for his first podium finish
The words of Valentino Rossi
Valentino Rossi can only be satisfied after taking the first historic four-wheel podium in the Fanatec GT World Challenge.
The Doctor celebrated by sharing credit with Maxime Martin and beyond: “I’m so happy, thanks to my partner and the whole team: it’s fantastic.” Valentino Rossi put in a lot of effort maintaining the position he earned in the pits without ever risking anything, ahead of the #32 Bmw of the Belgian duo Weerts-Vanthoor.
Valentino Rossi has won nine world titles and also holds the record, exclusive in the history of MotoGP, of having managed to win in all categories: 125, 250, 500 and MotoGp. A motorcycling icon, he retired in Valencia in November 2021, and his famous number 46 was retired at the last Mugello Grand Prix, held in May 2022.
