It is a relegation-threatened Sion that has decided to change coach with two days left in the Swiss league.

David Bettoni, who arrived two months ago to lift the team in which Mario Balotelli plays, has been relieved, paying dearly for the 5-0 defeat at the Servette ground and the consequent last place in the standings.

SuperMario has scored eight in 16 games so far this season, but only one of them in 2023.

Mario Balotelli was launched in Serie A by Inter coach Roberto Mancini in the 2007/08 season. In the Nerazzurri shirt, until 2010, when he moved to Manchester City, he won three Italian championships, an Italian Super Cup, an Italian Cup and a Champions League.

After three seasons in Manchester, where he won three trophies, including a Premier League championship on the last day, when he served the decisive assist to Kun Aguero.

From 2013, two spells at AC Milan, one year at Liverpool, three at Nice and one at Olympique Marseille, before military service at Brescia and Monza, in Serie B. Then Turkey (Adana Demirspor) and Switzerland (Sion).
