When Samira Lui enchanted at Biker Fest International

Officially inaugurated the 37th edition of the event

The organizers’ greeting and the cutting of the tricolor ribbon with godmother Samira Lui officially inaugurated the 37th Biker Fest International, in the presence of local and regional politicians. On the Main stage of the Village, Carla Battigelli, Moreno and Micke Persello welcomed, among the many guests who came on stage, the president of the Regional Council of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Mauro Bordin, accompanied by the regional councillor for Tourism Sergio Bini and the regional councillors Maddalena Spagnolo and Roberto Novelli, who have always been close to the kermesse. Naturally present were the mayor of Lignano Sabbiadoro, Laura Giorgi, with deputy mayor Manuel Massimiliano La Placa and tourism councilor Massimo Brini. Omar Vidoni, councillor for Tourism and Productive Activities of Majano, the home town of the BFI organizers, also spoke at the ceremony. With them were the official partners of the BFI, Gaetano Ferrazzano of main sponsor San Marco Petroli; and Igor Pezzi, the soul of Easy Rock, official 2023 radio partner.

The inauguration was also the best time to get to know better the godmother of the 2023 edition. Born in Udine to a Friulian mother and Senegalese father, after wearing the Miss Friuli-Venezia Giulia sash, Samira Lui reached the Miss Italy final in 2017 and embarked on a modeling career that culminated in her participation in the Rai Uno programs “L’Eredità” and “Tale e quale show.” On Instagram she has something like 140,000 followers and between selfie requests, during the inauguration she recalled how a small gathering of 250 bikers in her land, turned into the most important outdoor motorcycle event in Italy.
