In the salvation challenge at the Via del Mare, Salentini and Ligurians, already protagonists of a 0-0 first leg, produced a match devoid of emotions, postponing any verdict to the last two days of the championship. The only one to try was Nzola who did not find the goal with a couple of conclusions from outside.
However, the draw allowed Lecce to remain at +2 on Spezia and at +3 on the relegation zone always occupied by Verona.
