Champions League, referee of final between Manchester City and Inter Milan designated

There will be Szymon Marciniak to referee the Champions League final between Manchester City and Inter Milan, scheduled for Saturday, June 10, in Istanbul at 9 p.m. The Polish whistle blower had already refereed the return semifinal between Manchester City and Real Madrid, as well as the final between France and Argentina at the last World Cup in Qatar. With him will be compatriots Pawel Sokolnicki and Tomasz Listkiewicz as assistants, Romanian Istvan Kovacs as fourth official, while at Var there will be Poles Tomasz Kwiatowski and Bartosz Frankowski, along with German Marco Fritz.

Uefa also designated the referees for the Europa League and Conference League finals: Sevilla v Roma will be directed by Englishman Anthony Taylor, Fiorentina v West Ham entrusted instead to Spaniard Carlos del Cerro Grande.
