Trent and Lele Molin’s paths separate
Lele Molin resigns as head coach of Dolomiti Energia Trento
Following the elimination in the first round of the Playoffs against Tortona, Lele Molin, through a press conference, officially announced his resignation as head coach of Aquila Trento. The former assistant coach of Virtus Bologna took it upon himself to send a special goodbye to the club and fans.
“I made the decision, personal and mine, to leave Aquila Basket. I wanted to thank all the club, the players, my staff; I will always carry these years in my heart. The applause that the whole arena gave us in Game 4 against Tortona was an overwhelming emotion, an expression of how much people appreciated the path these guys have taken. The team interpreted the thinking behind this club,” Trento’s head coach began.
“I came here as an assistant, then I became head coach in a somewhat anomalous situation, but from there we built a long path. I found some great people here and built some important bonds. I like to end my adventure with the image of the Trento public that has always supported us over the years and sometimes even rightly chastised us, but I want them to know that we have always taken the court giving our best. Thank you all!” added Lele Molin.
