Napoli, among the various profiles being followed, has reportedly identified Luis Enrique as the main candidate to replace Luciano Spalletti, whose farewell is increasingly likely after a season topped by winning the third Scudetto in the club’s history.
According to reports in the “Corriere dello Sport,” President Aurelio De Laurentiis has already put a two-year €10 million net deal on the table to convince the former Roma and Barcelona man to espouse the Azzurri cause.
Should the former Spain coach refuse the offer, the main alternatives would be Bologna’s Thiago Motta and Fiorentina’s Vincenzo Italiano. More defiladed, however, are the profiles of Antonio Conte and Roberto De Zerbi.
