Ducati: 200,000 euros for Emilia-Romagna

Ducati, the celebrated motorcycle manufacturer from Borgo Panigale, has decided to join the “A helping hand for Emilia-Romagna” campaign by arranging a donation of 200,000 euros to the region’s Civil Defense, which will use the funds received to support the people and communities affected by the flooding. Trade union representation and employees also took action to donate an hour of their salary: the proceeds will be doubled by the company.

“Witnessing what has happened in our region in the last week has been a blow to the heart for all of us,” says CEO Claudio Domenicali, “For us, this is home and we felt the need to find a way to help, supporting with a donation of 200,000 euros the regional Civil Defense, which in these days is coordinating, together with the relevant authorities, the operations in the many cities affected.
