Jannik Sinner looks optimistically to the future of Italian tennis

A few days before the start of Roland Garros, Jannik Sinner gave a very interesting interview to the microphones of “Tennis Magazin” about the growth process that Italian tennis is going through.

“We are having a great development with many events. Challenger and Futures tournaments give young Italians a chance to grow and facilitate their jump to the ATP circuit. These kids in this way have the opportunity to compare themselves with the best and improve their game. The facilities are getting better and better, as is the skill of the coaches,” said the South Tyrolean tennis player.

Next, Jannik Sinner wanted to take stock of his moment of form: “I still have a lot of room for improvement, especially physically. In the weeks when I don’t have tournaments I train very intensively to improve my weaknesses, one of them being my serve. I honestly know that I need to grow in all areas. I think I can win tournaments, but to do that you have to accumulate a lot of experience.”
