Honda centaur Joan Mir to Motorsport confessed his current difficulties with the bike, and his fear of ending up like all of Marc Marquez’s teammates, especially Jorge Lorenzo: “I’m afraid, because I want to win.”

“My motivation is to win races, to be on the podium, to be in the top group, this is what gives me the fuel to do it. I haven’t had this fuel for a long time,” admitted the 2020 world champion.

“We don’t understand what I need to go faster, I can’t do what I want to do. And I think at the moment the team doesn’t understand what I need to be strong. At the moment I’m not riding with my natural style, whenever I’m wide, I open the line. At the moment we are struggling. This is a fact.”
