Superbike, Ducati: Bulega operated on arm

Aruba.it Ducati team rider Nicolò Bulega è underwent forearm surgery to solve the problem of chronic exertional compartment syndrome. The World Superbike leader è was operated on at the Oglio Po Hospital in Cremona by professor Alessio Pedrazzini.

The surgery on his right arm è was perfectly successful, and Bulega will now work to recover 100 percent ahead of the next round of the World Superbike Championship in Assen, Netherlands, scheduled for April 19-21.

"The condition has è presented itself since last winter and then sharpened during the’Australian Round but especially during last weekend in Barcelona, The severe pain threatened to limit the performance of the reigning Supersport World Champion and current leader of the Superbike World Championship standings. For this reason, in agreement with the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team, the decision was è reached to operate surgically on the right forearm of Nicolò Bulega. He will now have’plenty of time to recover from’the operation and present himself in the best condition for the third round of the 2024 Superbike season, scheduled for April 19-21 at the TT Circuit in Assen (Netherlands)".
