Brindisi, Frank Vitucci toward farewell: two alternatives
Brindisi, two names for after-Vitucci
Frank Vitucci’s farewell to Happy Casa Brindisi, after six seasons as head coach of the Apulian club, now seems to be a done deal, and according to ‘La Gazzetta di Brindisi,’ the announcement of the 1963-born coach’s arrival in Treviso (it would be a return for him) will come this week. Two are the favorites for the succession: Paolo Galbiati and Maurizio Buscaglia.
As far as Galbiati is concerned, ‘La Prealpina’ even reports an agreement in principle, although no official confirmation has come from the parties. ‘La Gazzetta di Brindisi’ instead mentions the name of Buscaglia, back from his exoneration in Naples and his experience in Israel at Hapoel Eliat.
Once the coach knot is solved, Simone Giofrè will then be replaced: in fact, the sports director should also say goodbye to Brindisi to go to Treviso.
