The words of Alessandro Magro ahead of Germani Brescia-Vanoli Cremona

A few days away from the derby against Vanoli Cremona valid for the seventh day of the LBA, Germani Brescia head coach Alessandro Magro presented in a press conference the competition that awaits his boys.

"A derby è a game felt by everyone and must serve us to try to follow up on the good performance we had last week against Tortona on the road. We will have to be good at approaching the game the right way from the two-ball. We can’t complain about our start of the season, as we have shown that we can perform well away from home thanks to our public that follows us on the road and makes us feel like we are playing at home" began the Germani Brescia coach.

"We will face a team that has the merit of having managed to return immediately to the big leagues, and that almost never happens. They have been very good at dominating the league and building a respectable roster. We will find a roster that can play very deep in possession and that is not afraid to take shots as the 24 seconds expire. They share the ball a lot and that is evidenced by the six players in double figures they have. They know how to play in hot moments, they like to play together and they have maybe not an incredibly high level of athleticism, but they are great at going on clear defensive ideas like aggressive shows on pick and rolls, they can go tactical by doing zone press and zone to steal seconds from the opponent’s offense" added the head coach of the Italian Cup holders.

"It's a contest not to be underestimated, as Cremona comes from a win against Virtus in the last round and lost narrowly to Reggio Emilia and Venice. They managed to win on a difficult court like Scafati after being down by twenty points. From the technical point of view, we will have to be good at playing well in both phases and have clear ideas. Our goal è to continue with our path and we will have to overcome this obstacle" Alessandro Magro opined.
