Here comes the sting on the field-invading president

Paolo Leonardo Di Nunno, the president of Lecco, has been suspended until Aug. 14 for what happened in the final minutes of the match with Pordenone.

The measure was explained by the Sporting Judge of the Pro League.

A) for having, in the 43rd minute of the second half, behaved disrespectfully towards the referee in that he entered the field of play, twirled his stick in the air, and made disrespectful phrases towards him;
B) for having, at the end of the match, waited for the Referee in front of the locker room door and repeated such conduct, uttering disrespectful phrases towards him to challenge his actions and, approaching him, grabbing his left arm with his hand at the level of his forearm without causing him pain;
C) for having, at the end of the match, upon the return of the visiting team, in the corridor in front of the locker room, hit with a hand to the chest the Pordenone player PIRRELLO ROBERTO, without consequences. Considering the continuation, measure of the sanction in application of Articles 4, 13, paragraph 2, and 36, paragraph 2, lett. a) and B), C.G.S., considered the continuation, evaluated the overall manner
of the conduct and the seriousness of the conduct engaged in (arbitration report, r. proc. fed., r. c.c., supplement r. c.c.).”
