John Elkann would have a new proposal for Massimiliano Allegri
Elkann’s proposal
Massimiliano Allegri is tied to Juventus for two more seasons and has already made it clear that he wants to honor the contract he signed at the time. “I have two more years on my contract and I will do my utmost so that Juve can return to compete for the championship,” he explained. “From June 5 we will already get to work planning for next season.
According to the Corriere della Sera, however, John Elkann, number one of Exor, the club’s majority shareholder, could ask him about his willingness to convert the remaining two years of his contract into a very substantial severance package, corresponding more or less to half of what is owed.
The two could meet immediately la after the end of the championship: at that point there will be a clearer idea of whether or not the Livorno-born coach will remain on the Old Lady’s bench.
