An easier victory than one might have thought for Lorenzo Sonego, who in the second round of men’s singles at Roland Garros beat French No. 40 Ugo Humbert in three sets with a score of 6-4 6-3 7-6 in two hours and 37 minutes.
Throughout the match, the Turinese, number 48, lost his serve only once, in the first game of the third set, immediately recovering the break, then finished by winning the tie-break 7-3. Now Sonego will most likely meet Russian Andrey Rublev, number 7 seed, opposed by another Frenchman, Corentin Moutet.
