F1, Spanish GP: Max Verstappen ahead in second free practice as well

With a time of 1’13″907, Red Bull world champion Max Verstappen was also the fastest in the second free practice session of the Spanish Grand Prix.

On the Montmeló circuit, the two-time world champion was 170 thousandths ahead of Fernando Alonso’s Aston Martin and 270 ahead of the Haas of the surprising Nico Hulkenberg. Fourth was the second Red Bull, that of Sergio Perez.

Sixth and seventh were the Ferraris of Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz, separated by 339 and 367 thousandths; eighth and 11th were the Mercedes of George Russell and Lewis Hamilton. Here is the complete ranking.
