Frank Vitucci to Treviso, length of deal announced

Francesco “Frank” Vitucci will be the coach of Nutribullet Treviso Basket for the next three seasons: as of Friday, it’s official. A graduate in Political Science and a certified Mental Coach, a Venetian from Cannaregio, born April 5, 1963, he is a veteran of our league: he recently surpassed 650 benches in Serie A, and he is an old Treviso acquaintance for his time as a deputy and head coach with Benetton Basket in the early 2000s.

Vitucci, who has twice (2013 and 2021) been named Best Coach of Serie A, is married to Monica by whom he has had three children, Chiara, Giovanni and Marco. The last two have also played in the past in the youth sector of Treviso Basket testifying to Frank’s closeness with the Treviso environment that has never failed over the years. It will be back to Palaverde then for the Venetian coach who will lead Nutribullet Treviso Basket keeping faith with his motto “Play Hard and Enjoy” that has always characterized his teams and his style on the bench.
