Lorenzo Musetti remains humble

Lorenzo Musetti does not compare himself to Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner and Holger Rune. “At the moment they are a bit ahead in both results and ranking, but it would be nice to become a member of those big four,” he says in an interview granted to ‘Marca. “Alcaraz is a unique player because of his talent,” adds the Carraraz. “What he has achieved in the last two seasons is admirable and I am happy for him. I can say that I beat him in Hamburg in one of my best matches. Hopefully we can meet many more times. I wish Carlos the best because he is a friend both on and off the court. He is a hard worker and deserves to be where he is.”

“I feel the same pressure that Jannik, Rune or Alcaraz may feel. I have to be patient, but now things are better and I think I can take another step forward this year,” Musetti concluded.
