Superbike: to Alvaro Bautista the Misano Superpole
In Misano, the fifth round of the Superbike World Championship, the third consecutive Superpole of the season for Alvaro Bautista. The Ducati Spaniard lapped in 1’33″017, preceding Yamaha’s Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlioglu by 165 thousandths.
Third was Bautista’s teammate Michael Ruben Rinaldi, 249 thousandths off, followed by two other Italians with two other Ducatis but from different teams, Danilo Petrucci and Axel Bassani. Sixth was six-time world champion Northern Irishman with Kawasaki Jonathan Rea.
