Simone Inzaghi spoke a few days before the Champions League final
Having archived an Italian season that, in addition to third place in Serie A brought the Italian Super Cup and the Coppa Italia, Inter must now face the last, very important chapter of 2022/23 in Europe, the Champions League final scheduled in Istanbul against English champions Manchester City.
Simone Inzaghi spoke at the Nerazzurri’s Media Day, addressing several topics related to the challenge that will award the top continental title. One of them is the Haaland bogeyman: “More than players we have to talk about moments,” said the Nerazzurri coach, “for our part we have to take away some possession from City to take away some points of reference.
On Guardiola, then, Inzaghi was outspoken: “Guardiola is the best coach in the world, he marked an era: we have so much respect and at the same time we are proud to play him. There is so much admiration for him and what he managed to do even at Manchester City.”
