Jannik Sinner immediately on the field to redeem himself: the announcement

Having filed his clay-court season with a double disappointment (Rome and Roland Garros), Jannik Sinner is quickly turning over a new leaf and anticipating his season on grass by getting a wild card for the Libema Open, an ATP 250 tournament held in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, June 12-18.

Surprisingly eliminated in the second round at Roland Garros by Germany’s Altmaier, Sinner will thus participate in two grass tournaments (the other being Halle) before the third Slam of the season, the prestigious Wimbledon tournament scheduled to begin next July 3. The Blue, who made it into the main draw thanks to the forfeit of defending champion Tim van Rijthoven, will have to contend with the two big boys Daniil Medvedev and Felix Auger-Aliassime, who are also coming off bad performances in the Paris tournament.
