The final first leg of the Serie B playoffs ended 1-1.
In Cagliari, Lapadula (9′) immediately unlocked the result and Radunovic took care of the rest, neutralizing a penalty kick by Cheddira and generally denying Bari the equalizer on several occasions.
In the midst of recovery, however, just as had happened in the regular season, Antenucci (95′) converted the maximum penalty that denied the Sardinians victory.
The visiting striker, inserted specifically to kick from the penalty spot, allowed the Pugliese to put themselves in a better position ahead of the return match scheduled at the San Nicola.
