Lazio, after qualifying for the next Champions League, is already working to strengthen the squad available to coach Maurizio Sarri ahead of the 2023-2024 season. Among the various incoming targets would be the purchase of a midfielder.

According to reports from “La Gazzetta dello Sport,” the Biancocelesti have reportedly set their sights on Jorginho, who will most likely leave Arsenal to find more minutes. The player, should he decide to move to the capital, would meet Maurizio Sarri for the third time, after his adventures with Napoli and Chelsea.

However, the main knot for Lazio would be the high salary received by the player (6.5 million euros). Lazio, for its part, would be willing to put a lower amount on the table with a longer contract term (around 4 million for two to three seasons).
