Sofyan Amrabat says goodbye to Fiorentina

Sofyan Amrabat is leaving Fiorentina. The Moroccan midfielder himself broke the news via a long post on his Instagram profile.

“I am proud to have been part of this team, we gave everything we had throughout the season and together we reached two finals,” Amrabat wrote.

“Finishing on the losing side is a painful feeling for the players and our fans, we really wanted to share this triumph with all of you and my biggest regret is not being able to do so.”

“I want to thank everyone at the club who contributed to a great season, all my coaches, teammates and everyone behind the scenes who work so hard to enable us to compete at the highest level. Your hard work does not go unnoticed and I appreciate you all.”

“And thank you to our fans, we have come so far because of the fantastic support you have shown us throughout the season and surely with supporters among the best in the world this club will still give battle in the future!”
