Valentino Rossi sheds light on his future goals

Just hours before the first race of the Road to Le Mans, Valentino Rossi, in an interview, wanted to shed light on his future goals. “Hopefully I can do well in these two days of racing. My goal is to improve so I can come back here next year and participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with the GT3, and then we’ll see what happens,” said the eight-time MotoGP world champion.

“While racing in MotoGp I always wanted to have a project to become a car racer and I think the GT3 category and endurance is the right way to improve my skills and be more competitive. The Road to Le Mans is the first step. Have started a path with WRT and now I have become an official driver for BMW. We don’t really have a goal for this race. We just want to try to be competitive and fight for the podium. Only at the end, then, we will look at my speed and skills to see if I can drive faster cars,” added Valentino Rossi.
