Novak Djokovic in the final
Novak Djokovic qualified for the Roland Garros final by beating Carlos Alcaraz in what was supposed to be the match of the year. And it was, but only by two sets.
The world’s top two players battled it out, with the Serb losing the second set 5-7 after winning the first partial 6-3.
At 1-1 in the third set, the Spaniard suffered a physical problem, of a muscular nature, and although he remained on the court for honors there was no more match.
Djokovic remained focused and easily closed the score 6-1 6-1.On Sunday he will face one of Germany’s Alexander Zverev or Norway’s Casper Ruud.
