Simone Inzaghi also spoke in a press conference on the eve of the Champions League final: “We were playing so much in this final part of the season and we knew it, we reasoned day after day and match after match: we are savoring what we have done, but we do not want to stop.”
“We will play the final in the best way. It is normal that Manchester City is favored, they are the strongest team in the world and they have proven it even in the few defeats they have had. The players? Many have made many finals, we will need heart and head, we will need to stay in the game even when there are difficulties.”
