Bari-Cagliari, the likely lineups

The final return match of the playoffs for promotion to Serie A between Bari and Cagliari will be staged at 8:30 p.m. at the San Nicola Stadium. It will start from the 1-1 draw in the first leg match played in the Sardinian capital.

The Apulians start from an advantageous position: having moved ahead of the Rossoblù in the Serie B standings, a further draw would return them to the top flight. Mignani, after the first leg draw snatched in the 96th minute, should reconfirm almost en bloc the same lineup, captain Di Cesare should return and on the three-quarter Bellomo is favored over Morachioli.

Ranieri, on the other hand, rejoins Dossena at the center of defense with Goldaniga starting from the bench, while Nandez and Mancosu, who were injured at the Domus Arena, are recovered but are unlikely to be starters and should be replaced by Koufalidis and Rog.

The probable lineups of Bari-Cagliari

BARI (4-3-1-2): Caprile; Dorval, Di Cesare, Vicari, Mazzotta; Maita, Maiello, Benedetti; Bellomo; Cheddira, Esposito. All: Mignani.

CAGLIARI (4-3-1-2): Radunovic; Zappa, Dossena, Altare, Azzi; Rog, Makoumbou, Deiola; Kourfalidis; Luvumbo, Lapadula. All. Ranieri.
