Bagnaia doesn’t stop. At Mugello, the reigning World Champion won what is the 14th GP on the Ducati. In doing so, he nabbed Dovizioso in terms of successes with the Ducati: “It was definitely much more difficult for him. The Desmosedici that I ride is not the one that he used to ride, and if that’s what Ducati is today, it’s also thanks to him for all the work he’s done over the years that he’s been with Ducati,” his post-race words.

Bagnaia is now aiming for the all-time record of Stoner who, with 23 wins, is the most successful rider with Ducati. Should he continue at this pace, Bagnaia could soon expect to overtake even the iconic Australian rider, World Champion with Ducati in 2007.
