Golden moment for young blue who is growing exponentially
On the Sunday when Djokovic won his 23rd Slam (none like him), Arnaldi conquered the German challenger in Heilbronn, one of the most important on the circuit. The 22-year-old from San Remo beat, in the final, Argentine Acosta: 7-6, 6-1 the partials in favor of the Italian who entered the tournament as the fifth seed in the men’s draw.
An important success for Arnaldi who signs his fourth victory in a challenger after triumphs in Francavilla (2022), Tenerife and Murcia (2023). Thanks to the victory in Hellbronn, Arnaldi makes a huge jump in the ATP rankings. He is now number 72 in the world and the feeling is that he can grow further.
