Danilo swears eternal love to Juventus
Brazilian flanker Danilo has spoken about his future by hinting, in an interview with Brazilian portal Globo Esporte reported by Sportmediaset’s website, that his career could end with the Juventus jersey.
“It was very easy for me to make the decision to renew my contract. It is a club where I feel good, I feel at home. Its values, work, resilience, overcoming obstacles, are very similar to those I learned at home from my mother and father. The ones I try to pass on to my children. I get a lot of affection in the city, from the fans and the people who live there. I’m fine, I don’t have to think about going somewhere else to get all this. Internally I have created a great bond with employees, staff, managers. I feel I have to repay some of the trust they had in me when I chose to leave Manchester City (in 2019, ed.). This may be my last contract as a player.”
In four years with Juventus Danilo, 32 next month, Danilo has won a Scudetto, an Italian Super Cup and a Coppa Italia and has put together between all competitions 163 appearances and 8 goals.
