Ferrari, Charles Leclerc fascinated by the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Charles Leclerc was also at Le Mans last weekend for the historic 24 Hours that gave the Ferrari crew the top step of the podium 58 years after their last victory and 50 years after their last participation.
And the Monegasque, who will race next Sunday in the Formula 1 Canadian Grand Prix in a season that so far is proving to be extremely negative, in which his best result was a third place in the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku, said he was fascinated by the world’s best-known race and expressed all his enthusiasm to the microphones of Eurosport. Here are his words.
“I would love to race the 24 Hours, it is an incredible event. I certainly want to check this box one day, when that will be I have no idea. But I am extremely proud of what Ferrari did, it was crazy. It’s an amazing feeling. To have a Rossa win is incredible, especially because you were coming back to race here after so many years, it’s a very special edition. Too bad for the second Ferrari, which was unlucky.”
