Lorenzo Musetti won in two sets over Frenchman Barrere

Lorenzo Musetti also gave a convincing performance in the second round of the Stuttgart tournament against Frenchman Gregoire Barrere. The number two of Italy, seeded number six seed, in his second match on grass, ruled the transalpine tennis player with the scores of 6-3, 6-3 in about an hour and a half match.

Musetti got the pass to the quarterfinals at the end of a match that saw him always in control, never losing his serve, with eight aces and two double faults. The Carrara-based tennis player will face the winner of the match between Czech Lehecka and U.S. Tiafoe in the next round.

The term ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) refers to the association that groups all male professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The ATP’s primary task is to protect the interests of the players and also to organize essential services, such as, for example, the drafting of the world rankings, called ATP rankings, and tournament scheduling.
