Virtus Bologna shortens gap, Scariolo is outspoken about Teodosic
Virtus Bologna-Olimpia Milano 69-61, series at 1-2
Virtus Bologna rediscovered the friendly crowd at the Segafredo Arena and beat Olimpia Milano 69-61 in Game 3 of the Scudetto Final, taking the series to 1-2 and thus reopening the games for the Tricolor.
Sergio Scariolo, in the press room, praised the team defense and the performance of one player in particular, Milos Teodosic: “In the first two games maybe we played better, but today we defended very effectively and after the first quarter we also improved in rebounding. I was not afraid to collapse after the two games at the Forum, tonight Milos was much more effective after two so-so games.”
“Teodosic is used to playing with pressure on him, we have to dose him in the right way and sometimes also calm him down,” Scariolo added. He has a great temperament, I expect more games from him like tonight’s.
